Chris Wilson
On Perry Riley’s penalty: “I’m just waiting for us to get a little bit of a home field advantage. Seems like … it’s harder to get that at home than it is on the road sometimes. But that’s what he saw. It’s not about what a guy does, it’s about playing the game and adjusting to what’s called.”
On the touchdown wiped out by Riley’s penalty: “I started celebrating and I went to line up for the extra point. I went all the way down there. I’m waiting on the extra point and I look on the sidelines and I see no one celebrating.”
Phillip Daniels
On running the table: “It’s tough, man. If we’re 6-5, we’re sitting in a nice spot. Now we have to run the table. We’ve been here before and we’ve done that before. It won’t be easy. It’s never easy. But I know what kind of character we’ve got. We play good against better teams. Hopefully that’s an omen; all the teams coming up are good teams.”
Anthony Armstrong
On his 45-yard reception: “I knew I had beat those guys real fast. The corner played a certain technique and the safety was low. Hopefully he would have seen it quicker, but he was probably dropping still. You’ve got to go on a seven-step drop and it was one of those things. At least he put it up there and we were able to make the play.”
Albert Haynesworth
On Adrian Peterson leaving: “AP got out of the game and I guess maybe we relaxed a little bit, [like] they don’t have a running back and we can stop them. Gehart, what he did in college he did the same thing up here today.”
London Fletcher
On the run game minus Peterson: “To their credit they stuck with the run game. Gerhart did a good job. They’ve got an offensive line that’s pretty good at running zone plays and Gerhart was running pretty hard.”
Keiland Williams
On the Vikings’ front: “They’re a great front. I wouldn’t say it was much that they did it, it was different things on different plays. Some guys coming free; the back not making the right cut. They played well up front, but it wasn’t just what they did that stopped us.”
Fred Davis
On how much he played in the second half: “Not too much.”
James Davis
On how he felt: “I haven’t played a game since preseason. To get as many reps as I did, I was still trying to work my way in there and get used to a full, live game.”
Brian Orakpo
On the Vikings’ offense: “They kept their offense balanced. We couldn’t have a sense of what they were doing.”
Chris Cooley
On what went wrong: “We’re not making plays I guess. We never ran the ball today. They made adjustments, we had drops after the first drive and that hurts.”
