Al Hunt, Judy Woodruff, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (and husband Martin), PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Carter Pate, Deputy Chief of Mission Zheng Zeguang, and Thomas and Ann Friedman joined Wenzhong at his residence Thursday night to toast Kemper’s “friendship and good work for better understanding between China and U.S.” (to quote the invite).

And since Friedman has sold so many of these darn things he can now afford to just give them away for free, Friedman and Kemper presented Wenzhong with an autographed copy of Friedman’s book, “The World is Flat.”
