Gus Johnson has left CBS and today he was introduced as the lead play by play man for Fox Sports Group college sports. He will be broadcasting football, basketball and he will also do select NFL telecasts for the network.
Johnson will also do college football and basketball on the Big Ten Network which is part owned by the Fox Sports Group.
Charles Davis will join Johnson on all FOX Sports college football telecasts as the lead color analysts and the duo will be featured on Big Ten, PAC 12, Big 12 and Conference USA broadcasts. They will also handle the broadcast of the Cotton Bowl game.
Johnson will handle college basketball for the network as well but the details on that aspect of his new package will be known in the coming weeks.
