On his touchdown: “I got a line drive kick, I was able to jump it, the return guys did their job and I ran straight.”
On the play at the goal line: “I can’t do that no more. I didn’t realize I did that. It was a close call. If we was at Tampa it wouldn’t have went our way. I’m glad it went our way.”
On the need for him to make a big play: “It was real important. Being on the injured list … it was important to go out there and do what I do.”
On his knee: “I’m not worried about it. I just needed some rest. There’s nothing structurally wrong. The knee is fine.”
On not being full speed: “I’m still not as fast as I want to be. You’ll see a big difference. I’ll be able to cut a lot swifter. Cutting is the big difference.”

On reading into not playing: “I’ve tried not to read between the lines. They’re very honest. I just listen to what they have to say and try not to think about it too much.”
On if he’s done what he wanted to this summer: “Yeah for sure. I was real happy with the way I played this preseason, in practice and in games. I felt like I put my best foot forward I feel good about it.”

On his night: “I definitely felt good out there running between the tackles. The line did a tremendous job opening up holes. I felt good.”

On the line’s performance: “We were up and down. It’s hard to say until you watch the film; sometimes it may feel great and it probably wasn’t as good as you think. It felt like we were up and down. There’s definitely room for improvement.”
