Call Hillary Clinton’s campaign staffers what you will, but don’t call them uncommitted. Their candidate even inspired one aide to give up a chance at riches on the poker table.
Campaign spokeswoman Hilary Perry took down 210 other poker players — including celebrities like Tim Daly and Lawrence O’Donnell — at the “Poker Ditente” event during last year’s White House Correspondents Dinner weekend. Her prize: a seat at the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational in Los Angeles during Oscars weekend, and a chance at the $100,000 first prize.

But Perry worked for ABC News back then, where it’s just a bit easier to get a weekend’s vacation than it is on a campaign during primary season.
“Sad, but true,” she said of her absence. “I didn’t go because it was the weekend before the March 4 primary.”
