The game will air on TNT as part of their opening night double header. The late game has the defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers (You remember them) hosting Houston at about 10:30pm.
TNT will mark their 27th season doing NBA basketball with 52 regular season games with the majority of those games coming during their popular Thursday night double headers.
Turner Sports who manages NBA TV this year has expanded its coverage to 96 regular season games.
Wednesday ESPN has their first double header of the week with Chicago at Oklahoma City at 8pm followed by the Blazers at the Clippers.
Thursday we flip back to TNT as the Wizards begin the John Wall era on national TV as they host the Magic at 8pm. The game can also be seen on CSN and heard on 106.7FM The Fan and FOX Sports Radio 1370AM. Part two of the double header will feature the Suns at the Jazz.
Friday night we head back over to ESPN where the Heat play their first home game against rival Orlando and we get to see the Lakers in the night cap against the Suns in Phoenix.
So if you are an NBA fan you will just about be able to see at least one game a night during the regular season and on Thursday’s and Friday’s fans will be able to catch two.
ESPN will have a full season of radio broadcasts starting when Miami faces Boston on Tuesday, Oct. 26, on ESPN Radio at 6:30pm. Additionally, Hannah Storm will host SportsCenter’s coverage from Boston with analysts Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon.
If that still is not enough basketball for you Sirius-XM offers the entire NBA season as part of their subscription. Also NBA.com has both TV and radio subscriptions to NBA Center Court as does Comcast, Cox, Fios and DirecTV.
