Prior to the 2006 season, Nuzzi had missed just one start in three years for the Spiders.
This year, with 14-3 Richmond ranked 11th in the national polls, Nuzzi has been just as consistent, and has started 16 of her team?s first 17 games.
She leads the team with 21 assists, and her 26 points are good for fourth on the team. Her 29 groundballs and 21 draw controls are also good for fourth.
Listed as a defender, Nuzzi is key to the Spiders? transition game. She has been able to make an impact on both ends of the field in her three-plus seasons in Richmond.
She also led Richmond?s team in assists as a sophomore, and scored a pair of hat tricks in the same season.
Nuzzi, an All-American second team lacrosse standout for Notre Dame Prep, also played soccer and basketball, and was a captain for all three sports.
