Mark Calcavecchia is among the latest group of players to commit to the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, Oct. 7-10, at the newly-renovated TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. Calvacecchia, who has four top-10s in eight Champions Tour starts since turning 50 in June, is looking for his first victory on the senior circuit.
The Senior Players, the fifth major on the Champions Tour schedule, also announced the commitment of rookies, Tommy Armour III and David Frost. They join stars who previously committed — Fred Funk, Tom Watson and defending champion Jay Haas.
