50 Candles for Jeb
For most people, turning 50 is never a fun birthday. And, even in Washington, people who are King of the Hill can’t escape being called “over the hill” when the big 5-0 hits.
On Tuesday, Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, turned 50 and marked the occasion nice and quietly. Spokesman Brad Dayspring tells Yeas & Nays that “Jeb is going to spend his 50th doingwhat he loves most — having a nice dinner and family night with his wife, Melissa and his two children: Claire, 5, and Travis, 3. Additionally, he spent a good portion of the day meeting with constituents across the 5th District at four different town hall meetings that focused on border security, improving our immigration laws and informing them about the Kennedy Amnesty plan.”
