The NFL’s greatest champion is making a surprise return.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced on Twitter Sunday night that he would return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite previously announcing his retirement from professional football in February.

Rumors of Brady’s retirement had swirled before his announcement in February. Brady led the NFL in passing touchdowns and yards last season at age 44.
The star quarterback will begin his campaign for another Super Bowl next fall.
