According to a schedule from the Pentagon, he was slated to meet with Muslim Lay leader Zadil Ansari and Pentagon staff members Hesham Islam and Kevin Wensing.
Over the visit of a little more than an hour, Ellison was scheduled to tour the building and the Sept. 11 Memorial, attend Friday Muslim prayer services in the Pentagon Chapel and pose for photos with the Pentagon’s Muslim community members.
