North Harford?s boys lacrosse team defeated Havre de Grace, 16-2, on Friday for the Harford County Championship, according to Havre de Grace head coach Jason Alford.
Dean Thrasher led North Harford (12-2) in scoring by notching four goals in the victory. Havre de Grace goalie Grant Steelman made 15 saves.
North Harford and Havre de Grace advanced to the championship game by winning the upper and lower divisions of the county, respectively.
The playoff draw for the Maryland Public Secondary School?s Athletic Association lacrosse tournament (boys and girls) was held Monday, and the first round of the playoffs will begin on Thursday, May 11.
