1:30pm TBS has the Rays and the Yankees. Tonight TNT has NBA hoops

Today is the rubber match of a early season big time match – up.

Sunday MLB on TBS” leads off its 2010 season schedule with Derek Jeter and the 2009 World Champion New York Yankees heading to Florida to battle Evan Longoria and their division-rival Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, April 11 at 1:30 p.m. (ET).  Calling the action will be Brian Anderson (play-by-play) and Buck Martinez (analyst).

 “Sunday MLB on TBS” includes match-ups on TBS every Sunday afternoon throughout the regular season.  The network will also exclusively televise the MLB All-Star Selection Show on Sunday, July 4.  Additionally, beginning in October TBS will once again provide exclusive coverage of the Division Series and the American League Championship Series (ALCS). 

 Later tonight on TNT the NBA will be featured at Chicago Bulls @ Toronto Raptors face off at 6 p.m. (ET) as they battle for the final Eastern Conference playoff slot.  On Monday, April 12, NBA TV will air another doubleheader featuring the Toronto Raptors @ Detroit Pistons at 7:30 p.m. (ET) followed by the Dallas Mavericks @ L.A. Clippers at 10:30 p.m. (ET).

 On Thursday, April 15, with the NBA Playoffs match-ups set, the network will air the Eastern Conference Playoffs Preview at 7 p.m. (ET) followed by the Western Conference Playoffs Preview at 8 p.m. (ET).   NBA TV host Rick Kamla will be joined by analyst Dennis Scott.
