Smile, you’re on camera
As we reported earlier, Washington’s new reality show — Lifetime’s “Blonde Charity Mafia” (featuring area hotties Katherine Kennedy, Krista Johnson and Sophie Pyle) — is busy filming around town.
But don’t let the show’s title fool you: Several sources who have been around during shooting tell Yeas & Nays that the show isn’t as ditzy as one might suspect.
“They were actually asking really interesting, intelligent questions,” said one spy. “I was pretty impressed with the whole approach,” said another.
And one more comment: “While I imagined they’d film a vapid conversation about clothes, the women in the cast were very savvy, discussing the event planning, retail business and fundraising goals. Perhaps the show will be smarter than DC thinks. Then again, ‘K Street’ was smart…but only Washington watched it.”
The show hits the airwaves this fall.
