You can’t be a true baseball fan and not like that the scrappy Tampa Bay Rays and battling down to the last days of the season for a American League Wild Card spot with the big spending Boston Red Sox I mean that is quality stuff.
Saturday the coverage will be on Fox at 4pm with the team of Matt Vasgersian, Tim McCarver and Ken Rosenthal doing the honors from Fenway Park in Boston.

Sunday the game will be broadcast by the Turner Sports gang “Sunday MLB on TBS” starts things off at 1pm. Leading off the day’s action will be a special half-hour edition of MLB on Deck with Matt Winer (host) in studio alongside Dennis Eckersley (analyst), Cal Ripken (analyst) and David Wells (analyst). The show will feature TBS’ announcer Brian Anderson’s full interview with Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers who discuss the team’s Postseason prospects and Fielder’s impending free agency.
Following the pre-game show, David Ortiz and the Red Sox will host Evan Longoria and the Rays. Recent 200-game winner Tim Wakefield (7-6) is scheduled to start for the Red Sox against the Rays’ starter David Price (12-12). Play-by-play announcer Matt Vasgersian will call the game alongside analyst John Smoltz in the broadcast booth with Jaime Maggio (reporter) providing updates throughout the game.
ESPN Sunday Baseball has the hard charging Cardinals who like the Rays are looking to make up ground this time in the NL Wild Card race facing the Phillies. 8pm
