Girls rule!

A Web surfer to the Department of Health and Human Services site might very well come across the Office of Women’s Health’s www.womenshealth.gov, “the federal government source for women’s health information.”
Yet if you’re a man, you’re out of luck. There isn’t an equivalent office for men’s health … or a Web site … only a tiny link on a page called “Health Topics.” That directs you to but a single page on men’s health.
“We’re pretty pleased that they put a link on there,” said Andrew Porter, public affairs manager for the Men’s Health Network.
The expectations of Porter and his group are on the rise, however. Bills have been introduced in the House and Senate to establish an Office of Men’s Health to mirror the women’s office, which was established in 1991.
We cry chauvinism.
