Yeas & Nays caught up with the surprisingly slight “24” star as he made his way from the table to the outdoor patio for one of his many cigarette breaks throughout the evening. Sutherland, who is staying at the hotel, has spent several days in town filming scenes for his popular Fox show.
“I like Washington a lot,” Sutherland told us. “But it’s really hard to film here when you have 36 different law agencies who all have jurisdiction over the same corner. But I’m liking the weather. … It’s chilly, but in a good way.”
