Two teams that are near the bottom of the Interscholastic Association of Maryland B Conference were able to put together a tight contest Monday night, with Catholic topping Lutheran, 17-16, in nine innings.
Lutheran scored in every inning but the seventh, while Catholic scored runs in bunches, including a pair in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Catholic?s Jourdan Harmon smacked a pair of triples, and teamed with Chrissy Bloomfield for the Cubs? homers. Harmon was on the mound for all nine innings of the contest.
Catholic (2-5 in conference) keeps a slim margin over Lutheran (1-5 in the conference) in the B Conference standings. After a ten-day break, Lutheran travels to Mercy on April 21, while Catholic visits Friends on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
