Frank Goes Gator

Dress Code

As was reported last week, cantankerous Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., implored his colleagues in a letter to stop asking him about his arm injury. Turns out that was only the beginning of his problems.

When acting as floor manager for a billon the House floor last week, Frank apparently couldn’t fit a suit coat over his bulky cast.

Yet House rules dictate that members must wear coats and ties when speaking on the House floor.

So, instead, a source tells us, he donned a blue sweater “with what appeared to be an Izod Lacoste alligator logo on it.”
