Skeptics, doubters, Ron Paul supporters, your ship has come in!

This Monday, Reason magazine is hosting a “Very Special, Very Secular Christmas.”

The invite, from editor Nick Gillespie and editor in chief Matt Welch, promises debates over the existence of Santa Claus, as well as a dramatic reading of Tom Lehrer’s “Christmas Carol” by none other than that most contrarian of authors, Christopher Hitchens.

Sample lyrics: “Christmas time is here, by golly/ Disapproval would be folly/ Deck the halls with hunks of holly/ Fill the cup and don’t say when/ Kill the turkeys, ducks and chickens/ Mix the punch, drag out the dickens/ Even though the prospect sickens/ Brother, here we go again.”
