Cheers & Jeers » Williams bounces around; TO a problem?

Former Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was hired for the same position by New Orleans.

Here’s the surprising part on this: Williams left the same day a similar job opened up with Tennessee. Williams has often said Jeff Fisher is his best friend — and that he expected to someday work with him again. Which makes us wonder why he ended up in New Orleans instead. And to think, a few years ago Williams could have had the St. Louis head coaching job. Now he’s on his third team in two years. But at least he’ll get a crack at Washington this season.

Meanwhile, Terrell Owens is a problem on the Cowboys!

Seriously? Never would have guessed it. But, one Cowboys source says, don’t assume the team will just dump him. With TO, they’re a big story seemingly every night on ESPN. Jerry Jones loves the pub. And he likes his money. If he cut Owens, it would be a nearly $7 million cap hit. From what we hear Owens is obviously not popular in the locker room, but guys just roll their eyes at his antics more than anything. But, really, who would have predicted all this?
