Remember playoff football? In Washington, it requires age and a long memory to compile the Redskins’ most unforgettable plays in the playoffs (Super Bowls excluded). 5. Mark Moseley (vs. 49ers) » His 25-yard field goal in overtime came after he had missed four earlier in the game and was set to be the goat after the Redskins had blown a 21-0 fourth-quarter lead in the 1983 NFC title game.

4. Darrell Green (vs. Vikings) » In the 1987 NFC title game, on fourth down with less than a minute left, Green made a diving deflection of Wade Wilson’s pass intended for Darrin Nelson at the goal line to preserve a 17-10 win.

3. Charley Taylor (vs. Cowboys) ?» In the 1972 NFC title game, Charley Taylor ran a fly pattern down the sideline and caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Billy Kilmer in the fourth quarter, sending Washington to its first Super Bowl 26-3.

2. Darryl Grant (vs. Cowboys) » Dexter Manley tipped Gary Hogeboom’s screen pass, and Grant hauled it in and high-stepped 10 yards for a touchdown, the decisive play of the Redskins’ 31-17 win in the 1982 NFC title game. Grant’s celebratory spike got him on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

1. Darrell Green (vs. Bears) » Hurdling one defender, juking another and running away from the rest despite pulling a muscle in his rib cage, Darrell Green made the key play with a 52-yard punt return in a 21-17 win in the 1987 divisional round.
