Next time you’re at Lotus Lounge on K Street, you’ll have a chance to do a little voting while you do your drinking.

The lounge has designed 17 drinks to represent the major Republican and Democratic presidential candidates. Sen. Barack Obama’s drink has Malibu and tropical fruit juice mixers (the Illinois senator spent time in Hawaii as a child). Rudy Giuliani’s time in the Big Apple earned him an Apple Martini. Sen. Hillary Clinton has a cosmopolitan drink named for her (a Lotus spokesperson says Clinton was given the drink because, like the cosmopolitan, the New York senator is “pink and feminine, yet strong”). Mitt Romney’s drink is, naturally, non-alcoholic because the former Massachusetts governor doesn’t drink.
Lotus will keep a tally of the most popular drinks, and the “Pick the POTUS at Lotus” competition winner will be announced right before Election Day.
