N(ot) P(ence s) R(adio)

When Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., wakes up in the morning, he probably doesn’t turn on National Public Radio.

During a conference call Wednesday about the “Fairness Doctrine,” an effort to mandate balanced media coverage of various issues, an unnamed conservative leader referred to National Public Radio as “National Palestinian Radio.”

Pence chuckled and said, “I’m going to use that one, by the way.”

Pence’s office declined to comment.
