Hoover was once an intergovernmental-affairs aide to Karl Rove, and she recently joined —and departed — Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign. She discussed feminism on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday night, alongside political commentator Kirsten Powers.
Hoover: Feminism is about women stepping up and not being afraid to ask for what they want.
Bill O’Reilly: And what they want is dinner, right?
Hoover: If that translates into the bedroom, well, then you’re going to have to take away with that what you want.

When asked to react to Hoover, Powers said, “She’s giving out way more information than I would give out.”
Former President Herbert Hoover, Margaret’s great-grandfather, could not be reached for comment on Ms. Hoover’s free-spirited views.
