Update Theoharis choice – Keep doing what she is doing….

Update — Amber Theoharis is not likely to leave her full time gig at MASN where she is very happy. She will be guest hosting The Scott Garceau Show on Monday. There is no doubt she will be heard on 105.7FM the Fan but not as a replacemnt to Anita Marks and that is by her choice.

Theoharis, who is a popular and talented personality, serves as an in game reporter on the MASN Orioles broadcasts as well as the host of Ravens Xtra.

While for listeners it might have been the Baltimore Dream team having Garceau and Theoharis together on the radio and on MASN it is not going to hapen.

Well that is why they call them rumors. Good luck to Amber we are a fan of your work.

The search for a replacement to Marks will continue…

Meanwhile, Anita Marks who decided not to return to 105.7FM The Fan will be working at least through the rest of the month of February for Miami sports talker WQAM. She had been doing drive time this week filling in on The Jim Mandich Show heard 4p.m. to 7p.m. Monday’s through Friday’s.

Marks was asked to join Mandich’s partner Curtis Stevenson to handle the stations Super Bowl coverage while the popular talk show host and former Miami Dolphin took some time off due to illness.

It seems that the duo of Stevenson and Marks will continue to hold down the WQAM drive time slot till Mandich returns. At this point it will be at least till the end of the month and we hope that the man Miami knows as “Mad Dog” gets well soon.

As for Marks she had planned to take the month off before deciding where her next move would be. She had narrowed things down to a handful of opportunities.

She told me via email “I am happy to be able spend time with my mom and the family. I can’t say enough about the people at WQAM, they could not be nicer. I enjoy working with Curtis and we are all waiting for Jim to return real soon so he can continue to entertain his many fans in south Florida. Till then I am just keeping the chair warm for him.”
