…CB DeAngelo Hall (knee) and DT Albert Haynesworth (ankle) did not practice today. If Hall can’t practice Friday, it’s likely that Carlos Rogers will replace him in the starting lineup. Haynesworth likely will be a game-time decision. The Redskins clearly missed him last week agaisnt the run vs. Dallas. The Eagles do not have the same power game that Dallas has, but they are capable of running the ball. Minus Haynesworth, the linebackers had more blockers in their face than they have had most of the season. And Haynesworth’s absence meant more double teams for Andre Carter — which mean less of a pass rush from the front four.
…LB H.B. Blades did not practice either because of his knee. He likely will be listed as questionable on the injury report Friday. Blades has become an excellent special teams player and his speed makes him a help in certain packages.
…TE Todd Yoder (foot) did not practice. He was walking around in a boot Wednesday, so this is not a surprise. But his loss would be a decent one; having only one tight end and one tight end/fullback would limit some of what Washington can run. At the goal line, the Redskins have used two tight ends and a fullback — it’ s how Ladell Betts scored vs. Denver, getting a good block from Mike Sellers while Yoder, playing fullback, cleared the final path with a good shove.
…RT Stephon Heyer (ankle) and OL Mike Williams (ankle) were limited.
…For the Eagles: CB Asante Samuel (neck) and LB Akeem Jordan (knee) did not practice. Both would be big losses. Jordan has done a quietly effective job for a linebacker corps that has seen numerous changes. Samuel is a play-making corner. His corner mate, Sheldon Brown (hamstring) was limited, but is expected to play.
