Caps get full day coverage on radio & TV – Video

Starting with sports talk radio today fans will be able to follow all things Caps. You will hear plenty of talk about the big first round match-up between Washington and Montreal that will take place at the “Phone Booth” in Chinatown.

Caps color analyst Craig Laughlin will be on The Sports Fix at 1:30 p.m. and The Iceman Steve Kolbe, the team’s radio play-by-play, can be heard today on XM Home Ice at 1:45 p.m.

Things really get underway tonight starting at 6:15 with Bill Rohland. He will be joined by the Caps Radio Network at 6:30, produced by the WFED-AM 1500 team of  Steve Kolbe, Ken Sabourin, Mike Vogel and Jonathan Warner. Due to conflits with he Nationals, all Stanley Cup Playoff games will air on 106.7 FM The Fan and Fox Sports Radio 1370 AM Baltimore.

Comcast SportsNet’s live game coverage of the first-round series against Montreal will be anchored by play-by-play announcer Joe Beninati, analyst Craig Laughlin and reporter Al Koken. Comcast SportsNet hockey analyst Alan May and Capitals beat reporter Lisa Hillary will also offer analysis, reporting and special features throughout the playoffs.
