Let’s congratulate former Redskins Hall of Fame running back John Riggins will return to Sirius NFL Radio joining his old partner Adam Schein. Riggins will host The SIRIUS Blitz Tuesdays through Fridays10:00 am – 1:00 pm on channel 124.

The first show starts Friday morning.

Riggins will do his part of the show from the Sirius-XM studios in Washington while his broadcast partner Schein will do the program out of New York.

“If you’re an NFL fan, you’re not going to find a better place to talk football than SIRIUS NFL Radio,” said Riggins. “I’m excited to be back and am looking forward to being part of a show that I hope will be as fun and engaging for the listeners as I know it’ll be for me.”

Riggins will continue his role on ESPN 980AM working with Andy Polin on both the post game show as well The Monday Morning QB Show.

The return to Sirius NFL Radio was something that was a natural for Riggins who had a long run with the satellite service prior to being part of Red Zebra radio’s Triple X ESPN where he served as the afternoon drive host.

So for Riggins it is the best of both worlds. He does Redskins work with ESPN 980AM and does a national show with Sirius NFL channel 124.
