MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have hired Jason Wexler as chief operation officer of business operations for the team and the FedExForum.
Team officials announced the hiring Friday.
Managing partner Jason Levien says they are thrilled to have Wexler’s experience and ties to Memphis.
Wexler has worked at a Memphis law firm, founded a real estate development and investment firm and was president of a development and management company in Memphis. He also has served on several growth and preservation boards. Wexler will oversee ticket sales and service, arena operations, broadcasting, community investment, finances, marketing and communications for the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies also announced John Pugliese, who has been with the franchise since Vancouver, will oversee the day-to-day operations as vice president of marketing communications and broadcast.
