Redskins on CSN and NBC4 tonight

 

It all begins tonight when the Washington Redskins travel up I-95 to take on the Baltimore Ravens in preseason game number one. The game starts at 7:30p.m. and can be seen on NBC4 and Comcast SportsNet, however if your want to watch the game in true high definition then you will need to tune in CSN.
CSN will have the pregame show starting at 6:30p.m. on SportsNite.
Chick Hernandez, Kelli Johnson, Trevor Matich, and Brian Mitchell will handle tonights pregame and post game action. We will have more about the CSN pregame show as we get closer to the season.
 Then they will hand things off to game telecast crew. One of the best broadcast teams in football will call the game Mike Patrick will handle the play by play with long time partner Joe Theismann doing the color analysis. The sideline reporters will be CSN’s Kelli Johnson and they will be adding NBC4’s Lindsay Czarniak who will be making her Redskins TV game debut.
This will be the broadcast team for the preseason broadcasts with the exception of game four against Carolina where Kenny Albert will replace Patrick who will be on assignment doing college football for ESPN. The third preseason game against New England will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
The Redskins TV weekly shows will be all moving to NBC4 with the exception of the Sunday morning FOX5 “Redskins Game Day” will debut September 13th with Rick “Doc” Walker and Antwaan Randle El co hosting the show. Airtime for this show will be 11a.m. 
Meanwhile starting next weekend NBC4 will be home to the rest of the Redskins TV line-up.
Redskins Nation with Larry Michael has been a huge success on CSN and it will continue to air weeknights at 6p.m. and 10:30p.m.
“The Jim Zorn Show,” will air on NBC4 with a new hosting team. Popular sports anchor Dan Hellie will host with former USA Today NFL writer now a Redskins TV analyst Larry Weisman. A new segment on the show give Zorn the chance to do a chalk talk segment showing how he and other coaches draw up the plays. The show will air Saturday nights at 7:30p.m.
Saturday mornings at 9:30a.m. Larry Michael will host “Inside the Redskins” a weekly magazine show on all things Redskins.
Comedian Chris Paul will once again host Redskins Late Night which will benefit from the lead in from Saturday Night Live. The popular show airs early Sunday at 1:30a.m.
Sunday mornings at 11:30a.m. following Meet the Press, it will be Redskins Game Plan with Lindsay Czarniak talking about all the last minute Redskins game news.
 During the regular season CSN will have the honor of getting first crack at head coach Zorn every Monday at 5:45p.m. Chick Hernandez senior CSN anchor will handle the the interview with Zorn and that should be a good duo.  
 That honor once belonged to George Michael and Sonny Jurgensen on NBC4 news but now belongs to the talented Hernandez who will no doubt make King George proud.
