Maryland junior wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey announced his intention to enter the 2009 NFL Draft and forego his final year of NCAA eligibility. Heyward-Bey, who is projected by many as a first-round pick, leaves College Park ranked second in career receiving yards (2,089), third in receptions (138) and tied for third in touchdown catches (13). He was an All-American in 2007 and a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.
