An old Olds
Many Washingtonians still remember ex-Rep. Earl Hutto, the Florida Democrat who served from 1979 to 1995.

A few might even remember his car, a distinctive lime-green 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
Despite a bit of rust and wear, that car has earned a place in the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing, Mich.
Hutto told the Pensacola (Fla.) News Journal that his “staff called it funny names, such as ‘The Green Lemon.’ But I didn’t have any problems with it.”
Deborah Horstik, the museum’s executive director, told the paper that the proposition of having an ex-congressman’s car was attractive. Plus, the museum doesn’t have “every Oldsmobile from that era.”
The car has been with him at his Pensacola home for years./>
