Boys? Latin completed an undefeated regular season Friday with a home win over St. Paul?s, 12-9, according to Boys Latin head Bob Shriver.
The Lakers started the game off with a 5-0 run and would go into halftime leading 6-1. After the third quarter Boys? Latin led 9-4. St. Paul?s mounted a comeback with four straight goals to start the fourth quarter and put the score at 9-8. The run was not enough, however, and the Lakers won their 19th game of 2006.
Travis Reed scored four goals to lead Boys? Latin. David Bronfein, Brett Weiss and David Shriver all scored twice for the Lakers, while Chris Boland and Nick Levy scored once. St. Paul?s had three goals from Cryder DiPietro, two goals each from Tyler Boykin and Nate Matthews and a goal each from Derek Lichtfuss and Patrick Sweeney.
