That was former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, celebrating his going away over dinner at D’Acqua with nearly 40 staffers Thursday evening.

While dining on a sampling of the offerings at the Italian seafood restaurant, Gonzo and his employees exchanged gifts — he got a statuette, and selected staffers received clocks and other such professional parting gifts.

Speaking of dinner, Subway sandwiches spokesguy Jared Fogel appeared at the National Press Club on Friday to participate in a forum hosted by the Center for Science in the Public Interest titled, “Improving the Nutritional Quality of Foods Available to Kids.”
