Where are they now?: Dan Glading, Men’s lacrosse

When Glading arrived at Virginia, his reputation literally preceded him. In 2003, Glading’s brother, Billy, was an All-American midfielder for Virginia’s national championship lacrosse team.

Three years later, Dan Glading has been a quick study. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound attackman has 15 goals and 12 assists, ranking fourth in scoring on the nation’s No. 1 team.

Glading has been on the starting attack line from day one, joining Matt Ward, Glading’s former high school foe from rival Landon. In his debut, Glading had two goals and two assists in a 15-7 victory over Drexel.

Glading has been a key cog for a Virginia (11-0) squad that has rung up three 20-goal games and owns quality wins over Maryland, Princeton, Syracuse and defending national champion Johns Hopkins.
