Who will replace Cris Collinsworth on the NFL Network telecasts?

There is a big time buzz that the NFL Network loves Warren Sapp. In his first year with the network he became a star and he is said to be the lead candidate. However, Sterling Sharpe and former Ravens head coach Brian Billick are also in the mix.

Are Caps owner Ted Leonsis and legendary Canadian broadcaster Don Cherry locked in an international incident?

Well, it does not look like President Obama will have to get involved. However this week during his segment on the Sirius-XM NHL Home Ice, Leonsis did not back down from calling Cherry “The Rush Limbaugh of hockey.” This coming after Cherry made disparaging remarks about Alex Ovechkin and Leonsis during a Hockey Night in Canada telecast. That is why we love the Caps owner.  He always protects his players and the fans.

Does ESPN dueling draft guru’s Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr. really like each other?

Sources tell me that our man Mel is not happy with McShay’s constant snipes at the man who was part of the team that made the NFL draft famous. Despite offers to move to other networks Mel is a company man and will stay at ESPN and continue to battle with young Mr. McShay — but that does not mean he has to like it. Hey Mel, we got your back.

Is a resolution between Comcast and NFL Network possible by May 1?

Things are not looking good. So Comcast subscribers who are fans of the network better start getting ready to say goodbye, at least for a while, come May 1.
