For those Washington Capitals fans the last preseason game against the Chicago Blackhawks will be broadcast on NHL Network-U.S. on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.
The game will be available live both nationally and locally and will re-air on Oct. 2 at 11 p.m. as well as on Oct. 3 at 4 and 10 a.m.
They will start the 2011-12 NHL season at home vs. the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. at Verizon Center.
At all 81 regular season Capitals games will air live on TV maininly on Comcast SportsNet Mid Atlantic, other games will air nationally on Versus (Which will become NBS Sport Network on Jan. 2nd 2012) , NBC or on the NHL Network.
Radio all games air on the Capitals Flagship station WFED-AM 1500, 820AM, 1370AM and Sirius-XM. Here is quick peek at the early schedule and I of course have a full look at the teams broadcast plans later this week.
