SELF-DESCRIPTION

“[Since giving birth to twin boys in February] you’re just so much more in tune with what players have going on. I think now if a player has a bad day or an intense practice, you want to follow back up with them because that’s someone’s self-esteem and confidence. I probably feel their lows tougher than I did before.”

FAVORITE PLACE TO TAKE VISITORS

Inner Harbor/Annapolis

INFO: “Whenever we have friends come into town, we like to take people to see the sites and walk along the water.”

FAVORITE CHARITABLE CAUSE

Center for Infant & Child Loss at the University of Maryland School of Medicine

INFO: www.infantchildloss.org

“After having twins and becoming a parent this year, I have a different outlook than in the past. Getting involved with a cause like this and being the honorary chair for their charity golf event last month was an obvious no-brainer for me.”

FAVORITE PLACE TO SEE A MOVIE

FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL MALE ATHLETE

Gilbert Arenas

Info: A 26-year-old shooting guard/point guard for the Washington Wizards. The three-time All-Star has averaged 22.8 points per game in his career. He is currently out with a knee injury.

“When healthy, he is my favorite NBA player to watch. He can do so much on the court.”

FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL FEMALE ATHLETE

Crystal Langhorne

Info: The 22-year-old average 4.8 points and 4.4 rebounds a game in her rookie season with the Mystics. She helped lead Maryland to the 2006 NCAA title and finished her college career as the first player in the University of Maryland’s history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds for either the men’s or women’s teams.

“Crystal will definitely be missed. She meant so much to our program.”

FAVORITE PLACE TO WORKOUT
