Will Power had an almost flawless race on the streets of Baltimore. Power ran from the poll and led for most of the race.
The three day event was a success with a weekend crowd that was estimated at around 200,000. 15,000 for Friday’s practice, Saturday’s American LeMans Series attracted around $50,000 and Sunday’s main event the IZOD Indy Car series drew an estimated 150,000. Suspecting that those numbers are bit over counted, the race was still a big success for the first year event.
The track layout will no doubt be changed but for the most part the drivers were pleased with course. Here is a look at the highlights from Versus on Powers win and a look at the course.
