Jacobson weighing options

Former D.C. United draft pick Andrew Jacobson, who chose France and Lorient instead of MLS last year, then played in the Futsal World Cup for the U.S., and is back in Europe, hopes to sort out his plan for the spring during the current transfer window. He currently remains under contract with Lorient.

Jacobson said today that he’s been in touch with teams in France, the rest of Europe as well as United. He hasn’t ruled out anything but said that is he will “do what I think will most benefit my career, which could mean staying where I am.”
