Dan the Man
A gaggle of media and members of President Bush’s inner circle — including Karl Rove, Ed Gillespie, Josh Bolten and Tony Fratto — threw White House Counselor Dan Bartlett a going-away party at the Old Ebbitt Grill on Monday afternoon.
Bartlett is resigning for family reasons; he’s being replaced by Gillespie. President Bush didn’t show up, but he was at a more intimate farewell affair at Blair House earlier in the day.
