Most Valuable Player
Toronto’s Chris Bosh had a quiet night until it mattered most. Bosh drained a 3-pointer with 9.9 seconds remaining for a one-point lead. He finished with 25 points and 15 rebounds. He also grabbed the final rebound.
All-Star performance
Shawn Marion helped the Raptors to an early 14-point lead with 10 first-quarter points and nine rebounds. Marion time and again was able to get inside. His fourth-quarter defense helped.

Overlooked
Caron Butler had a terrific game with 28 points and nine rebounds. But he had only two points in the fourth quarter as he was hounded whenever he had the ball. Losing Antawn Jamison to an injury allowed Toronto to focus on Butler.
Oops!
Wizards guard Juan Dixon, trying to break a press with 15.2 seconds left and holding a two-point lead, thought Brendan Haywood was going to continue to a spot. He did not. The ball sailed out of bounds.
From the bench
Ed Tapscott didn’t have Antawn Jamison available in the fourth quarter and that did not help down the stretch when another scoring option was needed.
The Raptors executed much better in the final few minutes for coach Jay Triano than Washington. Game-winning jumper by Bosh was a well-run pick-and-pop from the key.
