2009-10 FINAL TOP 25

Tide comes in on top

Getting through the tough SEC unscathed and beating Texas in the BCS title game has earned Alabama the top rank in The Examiner Top 25 football poll. The only other team with a possible claim to No. 1 was undefeated Boise State. But the Broncos’ less-than-daunting schedule combined with a less-than-convincing win over disappointing TCU in the Fiesta Bowl, leaves Boise at No. 4.
