Capitals training camp is officially underway at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The first group is out on the ice now with two more to come. Forward Michael Nylander is here, according to a team spokesman. He is expected to skate this afternoon during the team’s 2:15 p.m. practice and later speak with the media. Meanwhile, forward Tomas Fleischmann is not expected to participate today. Not sure the extent of Fleischmann’s injury. Will get an update later this morning.
