Philbin Ponders a Different Co-Host

Talk show host Regis Philbin and actress Jane Seymour made an appearance at an AdvaMed reception Wednesday night, promoting medical research and technology.

Philbin and Seymour cited times in their lives when medically advanced equipment provided life-saving surgery and a quick recovery time. In the spring,  Philbin had a triple bypass operation. Seymour has had back surgery.

Philbin couldn’t resist a good joke at the expense of his “Live with Regis & Kelly” co-host Kelly Ripa.

“[Seymour] would make a great talk show host,” Philbin said. “Why don’t we talk after this, Jane? Kelly can’t live forever.”
