Reality in the Kitchen
First Chef Rock Harper of B. Smith’s took the title (and the $250,000 prize) on Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen 3,” and now another D.C. chef is preparing to test his skills in front of the camera.
Beginning Oct. 7, Chef Morou Ouattara will compete to be “The Next Iron Chef” on the new Food Network show.
Over roughly five weeks, the show will take Morou (he prefers to go by only his first name) and his seven opponents from the Culinary Institute of America to Europe.
Morou is no stranger to cooking on camera: Last year, he appeared on “Iron Chef America,” where despite a good showing, he lost to New York celebrity chef Bobby Flay.
