Only in it for the fame?

All of those conservatives who have it in for U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald will certainly use this to claim he was only in it for the fame: The prosecutor who persuaded a jury to convict Scooter Libby of lying under oath will appear on NPR’s “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!” news quiz show this weekend. It is Fitzgerald’s first media appearance since the conclusion of the Libby case.

Host Peter Sagal said, “Of course, if he does lose, we expect the president to intervene and change the result. It’d only be fair, right?”
