Liz Essley · October 10, 2012 4:00 am

Debbie Polhemus of D.C. counteracts a controversial ad at the Takoma Metro stop using Post-It notes. Metro was ordered by a federal court Friday that it could no longer delay posting the ads, despite concerns about the four ads attracting terrorism or inciting fights. Polhemus' message included: "If you see something hateful say something peaceful." (Kytja Weir/Examiner)
