The threat posed by coronavirus didn't seem to deter vacationers to this Florida panhandle community from spending the day on a crowded beach. The Okaloosa County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office announced that deputies would be patrolling the county’s beaches to remind beachgoers to abide by Gov. Ron DeSantis’s emergency orders on social distancing and group sizes.
